1. Overview

The NETO NMRS ART Generator Application is a software application designed to retrieve health data from Nigeria Medical Record System (NMRS) database and export it to Microsoft Excel files. The app aims to simplify the process of data extraction and reporting for healthcare professionals. It export 99 columns of data to excel and the time it will take to complete depends on the size of the database and period in review.

• Database Connectivity: Establishes a secure connection to a specified health database.
• Data Retrieval: Pulls relevant health data from the database based on user-defined criteria.
• Data Filtering: Allows users to filter data by specific date parameters.
• Excel Export: Exports retrieved data to Microsoft Excel files (.xlsx) for further analysis and reporting.

3. Recommended System Requirements

• Operating System: Windows 10 or later
• Database: Compatible with MySQL
• Microsoft Excel: Version 2013 or later
• .NET Framework: 4.7.2 or later (for Windows)

4. User Guide

Installation

1. Download the standalone app from here. and open the app on your local machine. It does not require additional installation.
2. The MYSQL database connection is assumed to be as follows:

• host=localhost
• database=openmrs
• user=root
• password=root

Launching the App

    Double-click the application icon.

Exporting Data

• Select Start Date and end date accordingly and leave as default if you are looking at current date
• Exercise some patients (the time it will take depends on the size of the database estimated time will also be displayed on the Application user interface.
• Once it completes, a file dialogue box will pop up where you will be required to select where you want to save the generated file.
